The DESIGN | The TECHNOLOGY | The GIZMO  assembled a “panel” of clinicians | technicians | researchers | lecturers who work together and with various companies to help increase product awareness and assist in bringing new products to market.  Collectively, the "panel" acts as a“Think Tank” to answer questions from industry and other clinicians.  This assists the various companies who understand the value of the connections that The DESIGN | The TECHNOLOGY | The GIZMO  can provide for them to key opinion leaders in dentistry, implantology, orthodontics and 3D digital technologies.
Eli Ganon, Columbus, Ohio & Los Angeles, California, USA.

Eli Ganon is the founder and president of The DESIGN | The TECHNOLOGY | The GIZMO, a nationwide full-service technology consulting, techno marketing, market research, identify markets and customers, consulting, design, training, and "in vivo" testing laboratory for dental & medical 3D digital computing and manufacturing technologies. He received his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Aerodynamics Engineering from The Ohio State University.  Eli Ganon is fluent in English, French and Hebrew.
Allan G. Farman, BDS, PhD, MBA, DSc, Diplomate, Louisville, Kentucky, USA.

Dr. Farman is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and a licensed specialist in that discipline. He conducts private practice of maxillofacial radiology and has been involved with digital dental imaging since its inception two decades ago. In his private practice he interacts with all disciplines within dentistry and is familiar with the needs of practitioners. He is the voting Representative for the American Dental Association to the International DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) Standards Committee. He also founded and Chairs the International Congress and Exposition on Computed Maxillofacial Imaging and is Scientific Editor and President-Elect for the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. He was President of the International Association of DentoMaxilloFacial Radiology, 1994-97. He is widely published and lectures both nationally and internationally.
Ady Palti, DMD, Baden-Baden & Kraichtal, Germany.

Dr. Ady Palti is President of the German Society of Oral Implantology (DGZI) and President | Member of the Board of Directors of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). Dr. Palti is the founder of Videnti Center for Aesthetic and Implant Dentistry in Baden-Baden, Germany  since 2006 and maintains a group practice in Kraichtal, Germany since 1984. He completed his postgraduate implant training at the Misch Institute, USA. Dr. Palti is visiting Clinical Professor of Implantology, Boston University, Goldman School of Dental Medicine; Associate Professor at the University of New York, Center for Implantology; Honorary Professor at the University of Bucharest and past president of the European Academy of Oral Implantology. He is involved in experimental and clinical research in the field of implant dentistry and 3D digital guided implantology. His main research fields are immediate implant placement and immediate loading on implants, implant design, bone quantity and density, as well as bone augmentation materials and membranes. He has published numerous articles on this subject and has lectured for various international congresses for more than 10 years. Dr. Palti is fluent in German, English, French, Hebrew and Romanian.

Rafi Romano, DMD, MSc

Dr. Romano is a specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. He maintains a private practice in Tel Aviv, (Israel) limited to orthodontics, with emphasis on adult and lingual orthodontics. He is clinical instructor at the Department of Orthodontics, Tel-Hashomer Hospital, IDF, Israel.
He was the President of the Israel Orthodontic Society -IOS (
www.orthoisrael.org) in the years 2001-2003. He is currently the Secretary-Treasurer of the International Federation of Esthetic Dentistry- IFED (www.ifed.org). He earned his DMD degree (dental surgeon) in 1984 and his MSc. (Cum Laude Majore) in 1991 from the Hebrew University Hadassah School of Dentistry, where he was a member of the Orthodontic Department during 1991-1996.

He was the founder and the editor of the Journal of the Israel Orthodontic Society (JIOS) and is now editing the new web journal on adult and lingual orthodontics (
www.lingualnews.com). He is the Editor of the books "Lingual Orthodontics" (B.C. Decker Publishing, 1998) and "The Art of the Smile" (Quintessence Publishing - Germany, 2005). Dr. Romano serves as an examiner of the Israeli Dental Association Scientific Council-Orthodontic Examination Committee. Dr. Romano is an Invited Professor at the Department of Facial Orthopedics and Orthodontics, specialization and Master course, of the University Paulista UNIP, Sao Paulo, Brazil. He is an active member of the European Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry (www.eaed.org), international member of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), the World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO), and international board member of the American Lingual Orthodontists Association (www.lingualbraces.org) and World Society of Lingual Orthodontics (www.wslo.org).

He lectures extensively all over the world on the topics of adult multidisciplinary orthodontic treatment using Lingual Orthodontics, Invisalign and Aesthetic Braces.
Robert A. Horowitz, DDS, Scarsdale, NY, USA.

Dr. Horowitz graduated from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 1982 having concentrated in periodontics and fixed prosthodontics. After completion of a one-year general practice residency, Dr. Horowitz finished a 2 year specialty training program in periodontics at New York University and the Manhattan VA Hospital. He began placing dental implants after taking implant surgery courses nationally and internationally in 1985. In 1996, Dr. Horowitz completed a 2 year fellowship program in Implant Surgery at New York University concentrating in bone grafting procedures. As a Clinical Assistant Professor in the departments of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at New York University College of Dentistry, he teaches and conducts research in bone grafting. He is also on faculty and conducts research in the departments of Biomaterials and Biomimetics and Oral Diagnosis at NYU. Dr. Horowitz has lectured and published nationally and internationally. He has performed research in bone grafting, extraction socket augmentation and the placement of dental implants in areas of limited available bone. Current research includes prospective, multi-center, international studies on a number of bone replacement materials.

Dr. Horowitz is currently conducting research on bone graft materials and growth factors for use in periodontology, extraction socket therapy and implant dentistry. Some of the growth factors increase the speed and predictability of new bone attaching to the root surface in a periodontal lesion. Other growth factors improve the ingrowth of vital bone in the area of a recent tooth extraction or in the part of the jaw where a significant amount of bone has been lost due to periodontal disease, trauma or prior extractions. 

Dr. Horowitz is available to lecture to national and international groups on many topics including Increasing Case Acceptance Through Digital Technology, Extraction Environment Enhancement, Periodontal Therapy – Surgical and Non-Surgical Alternatives, Laser Enhanced Periodontal Therapy, Piezosurgery to Improve Predictability of Surgical Treatment and Predictable Bone Regeneration. Some of these topics include predictable methods to maintain bone after teeth are extracted and new periodontal regenerative processes to maintain and improve the bone levels around teeth with bone loss.

Paul Feuerstein, DMD, North Billerica, Massachusetts, USA.

Dr. Feuerstein maintains a general practice in North Billerica, Massachusetts, is the Technology Editor of Dental Economics. Dr. Feuerstein is the author of several 3D digital dental technology articles and an ADA Seminar Series speaker lecturing at many national and local dental meetings. Dr. Feuerstein a 1972 graduate of University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey installed one of the first “in-office computers” in 1978 and has been teaching and consulting on dental technologies. Dr. Feuerstein received his undergraduate training a SUNY Stony Brook studying chemistry, engineering, computer science and music.
Ziv Mazor, DMD, Ra'anana, Israel

Dr. Mazor is a leading Israeli periodontist. He graduated the periodontal department of Hadassah school for dental medicine-Jerusalem Israel where he served as clinical instructor and lecturer for undergraduate and postgraduate dental students. Dr. Mazor maintains private practice limited to periodontal and implant dentistry in Raanana , Israel. Since 1993 Dr. Mazor is engaged in clinical research in the field of Bone Augmentation and Sinus Floor Elevation . Thomas Schiff, DMD, San Francisco, California, USA.

Dr. Schiff has served as professor and chair of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and Emergency Services, as well as the director of clinical research, at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco. During his tenure, he became the first-named endowed professor. Dr. Schiff has been recognized worldwide for his contributions to dentistry and radiology, and has received many honors and awards for his outstanding work in both of these fields. Abe Ingber, DDS, Bethesda, Maryland, USA.

Robert A. Margeas, DDS, Des Moines, Iowa, USA.

Dr. Margeas graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1986 and completed his AEGD residency the following year.  He is currently an adjunct professor in the department of Operative Dentistry at the University of Iowa.  He is Board Certified by the American Board of Operative Dentistry and is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. He has written numerous articles on esthetic and implant dentistry and lectures and presents hands-on courses nationally and internationally on those subjects.  He is the Associate Editor of Functional Esthetics and Restorative Dentistry. He serves on the Editorial Advisory board of Inside Dentistry, and is a contributing editor to Dentistry Today and Oral Health in Canada. Dr. Margeas maintains a full-time private practice focusing on comprehensive restorative and implant dentistry in Des Moines, Iowa.

Nitzan Bichacho, DMD, Tel Aviv, Israel

Dr. Bichacho is the head of the Ronald E. Goldstein Center for Aesthetic Dentistry at the Hadassah Medical Campus, holding the post of expert in prosthodontics at the rank of professor at the Faculty of Dental Medicine, Hebrew University, Jerusalem, where he graduated in 1984.

He is Past President and an active member of the prestigious European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED) and is a Diplomate of The International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He also serves as scientific editor of the American professional journal Practical Procedures & Aesthetic Dentistry (PPAD) and as editorial board member of several international publications.
